John Byrne Leicester Warren, Lord De Tabley, was a literary scholar, a numismatist, and a botanist. Born April 26, 1835, Warren was educated at Eton College and then at Christ Church, Oxford, from which he graduated B.A. in 1859 and MA one year later.
