Biography

Carmine Starnino is a Canadian poet, editor, and literary critic. He's the author of four collections of poetry including This Way Out (Gaspereau Press, 2009), which was nominated for the Govenor General's Award.

Biography

Shane Neilson was born in New Brunswick. He attended the University of New Brunswick, where he completed his BSc. He obtained his MD from Dalhousie University, his MFA from the University of Guelph, and is currently a PhD candidate at McMaster University. Neilson is the author of five collections of poetry, and a two time winner of the Arc Poetry Magazine Poem of the Year Award.

Ian Williams completed his Ph.D. in English at the University of Toronto and works as an English professor. He has held fellowships or residencies from Vermont Studio Center, Cave Canem, Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and Palazzo Rinaldi in Italy.

Jane Eaton Hamilton is a professional writer of poetry, short fiction, novels and non-fiction, and a master gardener. She has worked as a photographer focusing on art and newborns. As a lesbian activist who came out in 1982, she helped bring same-sex marriage to Canada (Barbeau v. British Columbia, 2003 BCCA 406). Her hobbies are dance, painting, and sketching.
