Spring and Autumn

Spring and Autumn

Original Text
The Complete Poems of Francis Ledwidge, intro. by Lord Dunsany (London: Herbert Jenkins, 1919): 185. British Library 011649.g.88
1Green ripples singing down the corn,
2With blossoms dumb the path I tread,
3And in the music of the morn
4One with wild roses on her head.
5Now the green ripples turn to gold
6And all the paths are loud with rain,
7I with desire am growing old
8And full of winter pain.
