1A little meal of frozen cake,
2 A little drink of snow,
3And when the sun is setting,
4 A broad-eaved bungalow.
5A little hopping in the sun
6 Throughout the wintry day,
7A little chirping blithely
8 Till March drifts into May:
9A little sparrow's simple life,
10 And Love, that life to keep,
11That careth for the sparrow
12 Even when it falls asleep.
