1All her hours were yellow sands,
2Blown in foolish whorls and tassels;
3Slipping warmly through her hands;
4Patted into little castles.
5Shiny day on shiny day
6Tumble in a rainbow clutter,
7As she flipped them all away,
8Sent them spinning down the gutter.
9Leave for her a red young rose,
10Go your way, and save your pity;
11She is happy, for she knows
12That her dust is very pretty.
