1Stella, while now by honours cruell might,
2I am from you, light of my life mis-led,
3And that faire you my Sunne, thus ouer-spred,
4With absence Vaile, I liue in Sorrowes night,
5If this darke place yet shew like candle light,
6Some beauties peece as amber colourd hed,
7Milke hands, rose cheeks, or lips more sweet, more red
8Or seeing gets black, but in blacknesse bright.
9They please I do confesse, they please mine eyes,
10But why? because of you they models be,
11Models such be wood-globes of glistring skies.
12Deere, therefore be not jealous ouer me,
13If you heare that they seeme my heart to moue,
14Not them, O no, but you in them I loue.
