1Stella since thou so right a Princesse art
2Of all the powers which life bestowes on me,
4They first resort vnto that soueraigne part;
5Sweete for a while giue respite to my hart,
6Which pants as though it still should leape to thee:
7And on my thoughts giue my Lieftenancy
8To this great cause, which needs both vse and art.
9And as a Queene, who from her presence sends
10Whom she imployes, dismisse from thee my wit,
11Till it haue wrought what thy owne will attends.
12On seruants shame oft Maisters blame doth sit;
13O let not fooles in me thy workes reprooue,
14And scorning say, see what it is to loue.
