Strangers

Strangers

1She turned to gold and fell in love.
2She danced life upside down.
3She opened her wild eyes again
4and asked some strangers in.
5The strangers felt her in and out.
6They found her outsides thin.
7Since her heart was still and hard,
8they knocked her insides in.
