Original Text
The Poetry of Father Tabb: John Banister Tabb, ed. Francis A. Litz (New York: Dodd, Mead, and Co., 1927): 156. PS 2965 A2 1928
1I go not to the grave to weep,
2But to my heart, wherein I keep
4Alike the living and the dead.
5We gathered it as, day by day,
6It fell from heaven upon our way,
7To be, if haply one were gone,
8The bread for both to feed upon.
