Matthew Tierney, Full speed through the morning dark (Toronto: Wolsak and Wynn, 2004): 38. PS 8589 .I464 F84 2004 Robarts Library
A year ago I might have
laughed. The white van
is parked on an incline
back doors secured open
ramp extended to the pavement.
Up and down men and women
of all ages carry boxes tubing
an occasional electronic
device. Such eager faces
doubts answered by a newfound
belief in deadlines. On the side
panel in black calligraphy
It's best to keep moving.
