I Love all Beauteous Things
I Love all Beauteous Things
Original Text
Poetical Works of Robert Bridges (London: Geoffrey Cumberlege, Oxford University Press, 1953): 281.
1I love all beauteous things,
2 I seek and adore them;
3God hath no better praise,
4And man in his hasty days
5 Is honoured for them.
6I too will something make
7 And joy in the making;
8Altho' to-morrow it seem
9Like the empty words of a dream
10 Remembered on waking.
