The Fly in Autumn

The Fly in Autumn

Original Text
David Zieroth, The Fly in Autumn (Vancouver: Harbour Publishing, 2009).
1Yes, the light
2        once more
3                comes down
4                        at last
5through clouds
6to warm my blue ass
7here on the yet green nettle leaf, summer
8near the bear plop, and we the species
9best at finding dung, in the end light
10or in the glow of an early planet
11And even so, my wings
12carry me, and what thinness
13upon which to rely
