John Donne (1572-1631)

The Liar

              1Thou in the fields walkst out thy supping hours
              2And yet thou swear'st thou hast supp'd like a king;
              3Like Nebuchadnezar perchance with grass and flowers,
              4A sallet worse than Spanish dieting.
