Gelett Burgess (1866-1951)

The Purple Cow

THE PURPLE COW'S PROJECTED FEAST:
REFLECTIONS ON A MYTHIC BEAST,
WHO 'S QUITE REMARKABLE, AT LEAST.

              1I NEVER SAW A PURPLE COW,
              2    I NEVER HOPE TO SEE ONE;
              3BUT I CAN TELL YOU, ANYHOW,
              4    I'D RATHER SEE THAN BE ONE!
